Dallas-Based Company Leverages Experience to Continue Growth in Storage Management
DALLAS, Aug. 30, 2019 – Move It Storage, a leading company in the self-storage industry, today released details on a recent acquisition of the third-party management of facility in Sherman, Texas. Move It Storage is an independent self-storage operator and a Participating Regional Operator (PRO) with National Storage Affiliates Trust (NYSE: NSA) and currently operates 54 properties across six states.

The Sherman relationship grew out of Move It Storage’s presence in the Texas market and presented an opportunity to partner with a third-party owner within our existing footprint.”
The Sherman property currently consists of 50,435 net rentable square feet, containing 308 units, of which 97 are climate controlled. An additional phase of approximately 12,000 square feet is due for completion by October 1, adding 44 large non-climate-controlled units. Move It Storage–Sherman will be a registered U-Haul dealer and offer moving supply retail sales. The property will operate six days a week to serve customers, with an onsite manager during office hours.
